Digital Product FAQ

Which is Better, LTK or ShopMy?

Quick Answer

Neither one is really "better." They're just different, and the best pick depends on where you're at right now.

LTK pays you a commission that changes by brand, usually somewhere between 5% and 25%. But getting into LTK is hard. You need a strong, consistent posting history first, and even then, you might not get accepted.

ShopMy is much easier to join, even if you're newer. But you still need to bring your own traffic, meaning people who actually click your links. Over time, if you keep posting and making sales, you can level up to ShopMy's Discover feature, where more people can find you. It doesn't matter if that traffic comes from Pinterest, a blog, or social media, it all counts. ShopMy also lets brands message you directly. They might send you free products or offer paid deals as you grow, which is a nice bonus while you're building your audience.

Honest take: if you're brand new and don't have an audience yet, neither platform is the right starting point. Build some traction first. Once you're getting real clicks and posting consistently, ShopMy is usually the easier one to start with. LTK is worth trying too once you have that traction, but approval still isn't guaranteed unless your page looks polished and on-brand.

Either way, you can use pre-made Canva story templates designed for LTK and ShopMy to keep your posts looking clean and consistent from the start.
